TAYTAY, Rizal - A new provincial hospital system is due to start on the outskirts of Taytay, aiming to provide improved healthcare services to the local community.

With the soft opening of Rizal Provincial Hospital System (RPHS) Taytay on September 8, 2023, residents will have access to state-of-the-art medical facilities and a team of highly skilled healthcare professionals.



This is the eleventh public hospital in Rizal, according to the Rizal Provincial Health Office (RPHO). The RPHS in Taytay is expected to alleviate the strain on existing healthcare facilities and cater to the growing population's medical needs.

The hospital will offer specialized services such as emergency care 24/7 to cater to urgent medical needs, confinement, surgery, and diagnostic imaging to ensure comprehensive healthcare for the community, even though it is close to Metro Manila, where the big Department of Health hospitals are located.



It will also include an outpatient department (OPD); it is also equipped with CT scans, X-rays, ultrasounds, ECGs, etc. There is also laboratory examination equipment.

It also has the following dedicated services or departments with corresponding schedule for OPD: Internal Medicine (OPD Mon to Fri, 1 pm-5 pm), Surgery Department (OPD Mon to Fri, 1 pm-5 pm), OB-Gyn Department (OPD Mon to Fri, 8 am-12 nn), Pediatrics Department (OPD Mon to Fri, 8 am-12 nn), Anesthesiology department (TBA), Family Planning (TBA), Medico Legal Cases

The aforementioned services are provided at no cost to all Rizal Provincial Hospital patients, as is customary, by highly skilled and experienced medical professionals.

It will also house additional rehabilitation medicine, dental, orthopedic, and hemodialysis services to cater to the diverse healthcare needs of the patients.

These services will be available during specified hours, ensuring accessibility and convenience for all individuals seeking medical assistance at Rizal Provincial Hospital.
