Pagbilao embraces digital future with free WiFi initiative

PAGBILAO, Quezon - The town of Pagbilao will soon offer its citizens free internet access thanks to a Memorandum of Agreement signed between the town government and Integrated Digital Outdoor (IDo) Solution. This significant partnership marks a major step in enhancing digital connectivity and empowering residents of the Quezon Province municipality.

The Memorandum of Agreement (MOU) signing ceremony took place on March 25, 2024, at the Pagbilao Municipal Court, initiating a collaborative effort to bring free WiFi services to the community.



Pagbilao Mayor Angelica Portes-Tatlonghari expressed enthusiasm for the partnership: “Today is a significant milestone in our commitment to a more connected, digitally inclusive community. This partnership with IDo Solution empowers our residents to harness the internet for education, communication, and economic growth."

IDo Solution, a leader in reliable, high-speed WiFi networks, is dedicated to ensuring seamless connectivity for Pagbilao residents. “We are honored to partner with the municipal government of Pagbilao on this initiative,” said Engr.

Free WiFi services will be rolled out initially in the municipal park and public market, providing residents with easy access to online resources. The initiative is also expected to promote digital literacy and foster greater civic engagement.

Libby emphasized the importance of public-private partnerships in addressing the digital divide and fostering inclusive growth. He added that this collaboration demonstrates the municipal government's dedication to the well-being and progress of its residents.

The ceremony, attended by key officials, highlighted the shared commitment to bridging the digital divide and ensuring equal access to online resources for all residents of Pagbilao. Under the Terms of Agreement, IDo Solution will install, maintain, and manage WiFi infrastructure throughout the area.
