PAGBILAO, Quezon – Commuters in Pagbilao will once again gain access to a direct public transportation route to and from Grand Central Terminal. The reactivation follows an official request from the Pagbilao Transport Service Cooperative (PTSC) that received approval from the municipal government.

The restored route will improve mobility for residents traveling to nearby urban centers. Municipal authorities announced the resumption through a public advisory released to commuters and transport operators on June 23.

With the route now cleared for operation, PTSC also released details of the approved schedule. The advisory outlined the starting point, travel path and terminal destination for public utility vehicles.

Under the approved route plan, trips will start at 6 a.m. from Barangay Ikirin near the Shell gasoline station. Drivers will travel along the Maharlika Highway before proceeding through the Diversion Road.

PTSC identified Grand Central Terminal in Lucena City as the destination of the route under the approved transport plan. Drivers will continue return trips to Pagbilao until the last scheduled departures between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.

The reopening of the route also carries implications for the local transport sector. The advisory informed jeepney drivers and operators that they may resume operations along the route.

PTSC encouraged transport operators to maintain orderly services as passenger demand returns. The cooperative opened the route to drivers and operators who wish to begin regular trips.

The reopening marks the return of a transport link that serves daily commuters in the municipality. The restored route provides another travel option for residents going to work, school and other destinations.
