BATANGAS CITY - The One Billion Rising Dance was held at Plaza Mabini on February 18 as an early celebration of Women's Month in the city, under the leadership of the City Social Welfare & Development Office (CSWDO and the Kalipunan ng Liping Pilipina (KALIPI)).

Members of the Women’s Group rallied as an expression of their support to end any form of violence against women.



The purpose of the said work is also to provide them with sufficient knowledge on how they can protect their welfare as well as to make them aware of the laws regarding their rights.

They also conducted a signature campaign to raise funds for sick women.



The theme of this year's National Womens Month is "We Make Change Work For Women". (with reports from PIO Batangas City.
