CANDELARIA, Quezon — Candelaria launched its first product showcase on December 16, 2025 at the Waltermart Community Hall, highlighting locally made goods through live demonstrations. It coincided with Waltermart Candelaria’s fifth anniversary and supported efforts to expand opportunities for local entrepreneurs.
Micro, small, and medium enterprises from the municipality took part in the showcase, which welcomed the public, including mall patrons. A shared venue allowed producers to present products directly to consumers and potential buyers.
Organizers carried out the program under the theme “Kilalanin, Linangin, at Mahalin ang Sariling Tatak Kandelaryahin” and the banner Negosyong Istante: Proudly Candelaria MSME. Temporary retail shelves highlighted locally produced items as planners moved forward with plans for a permanent pasalubong space.
The program conferred certificates of appreciation to recognize support and participation in the showcase. Waltermart Candelaria, the Municipal Cooperative Development Council, and participating MSMEs received the citations.
The program recognized Sam Print Master, Mondric Enterprises, Cocodeli Coconut Products, Adarna Agriculture Cooperative, Candelaria Coconut Farmers Agriculture Cooperative, MMS Market Corporation, and Candelaria scented candles. These enterprises received citations for contributing to a more visible and resilient Tatak Candelaria MSME community.
Earlier pop-up retail efforts in the municipality, introduced in 2024, provided a foundation for the activity. Continuing initiatives aim to widen market access and increase visibility for Candelaria-based MSMEs.
