GENERAL NAKAR, Quezon —Advancing digital governance, the Municipal Government of General Nakar—led by Mayor Alfredo J. Pujeda—held an orientation on the eGov Super App and eGovPay. Both platforms were outlined as key tools for streamlining permits, payments, and other local government transactions.

Municipal Treasurer Angelito Vargas, together with the Municipal Treasurer’s Office and the Business Permit and Licensing Office, led the initiative. The effort forms part of the municipality’s push for modern, secure, and efficient public services.

Mayor Alfredo J. Pujeda delivered a message underscoring the importance of digital transformation in promoting economic growth and strengthening local governance. He said adopting modern technology helps ensure faster, more transparent processes for both government offices and the business sector.

Program facilitators Jessa Mae Dela Torre and Amaballe Piamonte guided the orientation, which covered the functions and benefits of the eGov Super App and eGovPay. Jayvee Pasoot of DICT Quezon–Mauban presented key features of the platforms and explained how they support technology-driven economic development across various sectors of the community.

A briefing was also provided by Leonylyn N. Magbuhat of Land Bank Infanta Branch, who discussed the role of digital payments in business transactions. She highlighted how ePayment systems reduce processing time and improve accountability in government collections.

The orientation responds to the growing need for businesses to adapt to an evolving digital landscape. Providing clear and accessible information on new technologies helps ensure that entrepreneurs can benefit from faster and more efficient government processes.
